For each hymn, the app provides information that can include descriptions, brief author biographies, and helpful notes for worship leaders regarding performance suggestions and arrangements. Additionally, brief audio clips are available for most songs to aid in familiarization.

The integrated search feature offers flexibility, allowing users to locate songs by first line, author, composer, topic, or referenced scripture passages. An immediate search by hymn number is also supported.

A notable aspect of this app is the revolutionary FlexScores available for many songs, which include large print, lead sheet, and instrumental arrangements. Users can customize both the music and text size and transpose scores as needed.

The FlexScores encompass various formats such as pew editions, lead sheets, and arrangements for a wide range of instruments including violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophones, horn, trumpet, trombone, and tuba. Each instrumental arrangement is transposed appropriately to suit the instrument's range.

A network connection is required to access audio samples and view most FlexScores. It is important to note that while editions like Pew and FlexScore can be transferred across devices, individual FlexScores purchased for either $1.99 or $9.99 are not transferable.
